I know that some people use the Punks site for their Metal Skool upcoming shows. So for the record, Metal Skool has now officially moved over to the Roxy in Hollywood. So every Monday night you can come see us at the Roxy. Please do not be fooled by the Viper Room, they have hired a band from our former booking agency that owns the name "Metal Shop" and are using musicians that are not the original Metal Shop you have come to enjoy over the past 4 years.

Hope to see you out there.
Ralph
P.S. Las Vegas rocked this last weekend.

We will NOT be fooled by some cheap imitation.

"Rob Halford" will be at the first Metal Skool Roxy show.

Please come back to Vegas Ralph. There are tons of eager fans out here waiting for Metal Skool. Everyone is complaining about Full Metal Jacket because they do not put on an amazing show like yours. I'm sure the Suncoast regrets firing u guys because they have lost alot of buisness on tuesdays.

Everyone sing...."Don't know what you've got, till it's gone."

Metal Skool should add this Cinderella classic to their setlist.

I'd agree about the Suncoast thing, when we were in Vegas a LOT of people said that it just wasn't the same. Full Metal Jacket was entertaining, seemed like good guys, they did do some cool songs that surprised me like "Wait" etc. ... and drinks were cheap which maybe made them a bit more entertaining, but Metal Shop is like a pro team and everybody else is working towards that and just not there.

Last night, the show at the Roxy was AMAZING!!!

I had such a great time. It was COMPLETELY awesome to see Metal Skool dominate the sham Metal Shop at the Viper room. It wasn't even close. I drove by the Viper Room at 10PM, and there was nobody...I mean NOBODY out front. You couldn't even tell there was show, aside from the marquee.

The Roxy is probably twice the size of the Viper Room, and it was CRAZY packed. At least at the Roxy, if you get there early enough, the average person can get in.

After an awesome show...I walked out at 2am, and while driving back, peeped at the Viper Room.

NOBODY...I mean not one person mingling, milling or leaving.

I hope the Viper Room sent a spy to report back how great the Roxy show went, while theirs was miserable.

They played Stripper Girl last night...I've seen them about 6 times now...and I have only heard that one twice.

The girl that Ralph pulled up...was AMAZING hot...holy kabookie. He finished the song in th crowd....funny stuff...running away from the aggressive stripper girl.

Damn! I should have gone. I live less than 4 miles from the Roxy. I was apprehensive about having to wait in line forever. I'll be there next week!

Did anybody see people taking pictures at the Roxy?

Wondering if people are allowed to take pictures there, as that was something that always bugged me about the Viper Room [Frown]

I hope this a sign of even better things to come for our Metal Skool [Thumbs Up!]

I forgot to metion that full metal jacket never lets anyone get up on stage to sing or play with the band. They are probably worried that someone will up stage them. Metal Shop could never be upstaged by anyone cause they are the greatest.

OMG...that's sad. That's what can make a Metal Skook show fun...and UNIQUE!!!

Last week, the bass player for System Of A Down (or Down Syndrome, as Ginger called them) came up and slogged his way through You've Got Another Thing Coming.

The singer from Queen V singing Rebel Yell about 3 months ago...that rocked.

And then that chick singer from Israel belting out Sweet Child O Mine, while Russ and Ralph looked up her skirt.

Guess who took some pictures there last night, and will share them as soon as they're ready?

Last night had it all - spandex, long hair, bare chests, midgets, lesbians making out on stage, a Ted Nugent lookalike that sounded like Axl Rose, and Dean Cameron playing bass during "Photograph..." And to think I was this close to not going!

=^,,^= [Sleepy]

I saw Full Metal Jacket at the Sunset Station, was told that the PUNKS were playing. I even booked my room at the hotel! I was so bummed when they said, oops our bad, FMJ is playing.

Full Metal Jacket blew. They wore these "were too cool for you shades" and were missing the frivolity of Metal Shop. Honorable mention to the GTR player and drummer.

That guitar player and drummer just got off a tour with David Lee Roth, so they're not half bad [Roll Eyes] But of course, it is impossible to recreate the fun of a Metal Skool show!

At least you gave FMJ a chance and checked them out in person.

BTW, that same guitarist was also in the Atomic Punks for a few years [Thumbs Up!]
