I am definately planning to be at this show, and am even making plans to clear up a conflict with obligations at work that night [Cry]

I tried to get Jenn to come to this show, but she has a Slippery When Wet show the same night at Paladinos [Razz]

Didn't we hear about the possibility of The Ducks opening for the Punks at this Whisky show?

If the Ducks book a set, hopefully that will change Jenn's mind about attending

Actually, its not a Slippery When Wet show, but 3 of the guys are in other tribute bands and they are all playing that night at Paladinos: Empyre (Queensrhyche), Pyromania (Def Leppard) and Ratt n Roll (Ratt).

OK, rockchick is gonna kill me for this, but I'm actually considering going to the Punks that night instead of Ratt N Roll, Pyromania and Empyre at Paladino's. Seeing the Punks at the Whisky is always a treat but SO many of our friends will be at Paladino's that night. What to do... [Frown]

AlbertR is right, the one thing that would put me over the top on the Whisky is if the Ducks book the opening spot. If that happens, you couldn't pay me to miss the show! [Bouncey]

The Whisky is an awesome venue to see any band!! They have a great sound system there!!! The Atomic Punks are sure to rock the house!!

It is a very hard decision to make but you know I have to be there for my Slippery guys...Plus I'm anxious to catch the Pyro show.

In any case, we'll all have to meet up at the afterparty which is in Burbank that night. If we get the Paladino's group with the Whisky gang, this party is sure to rage into the late morning hours for sure!! LOL

What time are people planning to meet up??? What time are people plannig to actually go to the show??

I'm not from LA, but my "LA friends" seem to feel Saturday will be a bit nuts on Sunset Blvd. due to it being "Halloween weekend".....so I've been warned that parking will be an issue. I was originally planning on getting there around 11, but it's been recommended that I get there closer to 9 or 9:30. Any thoughts???

You're welcome, but most of the time (at least lately) the pictures I am sharing are not mine, as I am really behind in editting and posting them.

I am very thankful to the various people who let me link to their photo albums, especially Christy, who has provided links to hundreds of her Atomic Punks, Metal Shop & Ducks pictures, as well as some video clips!

She is WAY cool for spending the time to take pictures, edit them, then post them online for others to enjoy.
