There's a new Ralph Tour Diary up on Metal Sludge. A great story about Ralph running into "the" Eddie Van Halen at a local Staples store.

http://www.metal-sludge.com/RalphsDiary11-26-02.htm

Would have loved to hear what would have happened if this conversation went any further than it did....

Its so cool to see that us fans/non-musicians aren't the only ones who get tongue tied when meeting our idols! [Smile]

HA HA! This is from Metal Sludge's latest piece, "What Rockstars are Thankful For."

"David Lee Roth is thankful that Ralph Saenz chickened out on asking Eddie Van Halen to jam together."

"Sammy Hagar is thankful that Ralph Saenz chickened out on asking Eddie Van Halen to jam together."

I was hoping Van Halen would hire Ralph after they fired Sammy in late '96. I'll always love the music but I'm tired of both Dave and Sammy..........and maybe even Eddie but after Dave and Sammy's tour saga/soap opera last summer I'll give Eddie the benefit of the doubt.
