YES!!!
Looks like I will *actually* make it to a Punks gig before the year is done and over with. Staff Pro wanted me to work this Friday night, but I told them I had better things to do...like see the Atomic Punks at Canes in Mission Beach! The wife and I will be there, since her mom is coming dwon from Fontana to visit and she said she'd babysit for us.
Thank God...we've been needing a night out like this for a LOOOOONG time! (Uh, Cabo aside, that is!)
Anyone else gonna make it this Friday????

The Punks ROCKED tonight!!!
They did a kick-ass cover of Judas Priest's "You Got Another Thing Comin'". It was great to hear "Romeo Delight" back in the set. Now, please put "The Full Bug" back as well! Took my digicam and got off some pretty decent shots. It was a very sparse crowd tonight. Nothing like it usually is at Canes. I played it safe tonight and hung out on a bar stool with my wife for the entire set. Saw Jenn, Albert, and I'm pretty sure I saw Tim, too. If that was you, Tim, dude...invest in some voice lessons. EESH!
Just havin' some fun with ya, man.
Great gig. I haven't been to a Punks show in a long time, and I missed these guys. I'm glad I went. Jason, you were sorely missed, man!

Ahhh...okay. I ran into Jenn after the show and she had said "Timmy wants to meet you." She took off to go get you, I'm supposing, but never came back.
There was a guy at the foot of the stage all night with long hair and a beard, like yours from what I remember seeing in the pic you took and posted at Links, and I thought it was you.
I was dead-dog tired last night, which is why I opted for a bar stool all night, rather than take my usual spot down by the stage.
It was a good set last night, though, wasn't it?

Vince, I'll answer for this for Tim, I feel pretty safe in this seeing as I just saw him a month ago. If the guy you saw had a beard and long hair, it wasn't Tim.

Yup, I went in search of Tim and never found him, now I know it's cause he was long gone by then! He had mentioned to me before the show that Vince would be there and that he wanted to finally meet him. Looks like it'll have to wait..again.
Tim usually hangs out by the sound booth so next time you'll know where to find him. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I just remember seeing the photo of him you posted a while back from when he saw the Punks at Canes. It was the night he made the "VHLINKS" sign, and for some reason I remember him having a beard/goatee (??) in the pic.
I guess Alzheimer's is settling in.
