Thanks for the tip off Vince [Cool]

Ralph also sang on Tribute to Jason Becker - Warmth in the Wilderness I [Smile]

His unmistakable vocals appear on disc 1, track 12, "Baby's on Fire" [Big Grin] Too bad he didn't sing on the next track because one of my favorite David Lee Roth solo songs is "Sensible Shoes" [Cry]

Fans of David Lee Roth's solo music, and of shredding guitar work, will dig the first compilation and will probably enjoy the second one too [Thumbs Up!]

The first tribute can be ordered at Amazon.com and the second tribute compilation can be pre-ordered at the same site (expected release date is 12/31/02).

By the way, to find these compilations on Amazon.com just do a search for "Jason Becker" and then click on the link to "see all results" in Popular Music.

No, I don't own any stock in Amazon, but I do find them a convenient way to purchase recordings (especially now with the free shipping on orders over $25, and that I virtually get a 8.25% discount off their already low prices by not having to pay for CA sales tax [Quiet] ).

I actually took lessons from Tracy G. when I was just starting to play guitar (about 20+ years ago) at Hacienda Music on Gale Avenue in Hacienda Heights...and believe it or not, he taught me ON FIRE!

There was this other guy who gave lessons named Andrea and he and Tracy were learning the lead to On Fire while I was in the store and then I had tracy teach it to me.

He also played at my High School in Haceinda Heights when he was with Riff Raff (I also you to see him play w/Centar)
