I noticed that Pov's in Minnesota now is a regular once-a-month (at least) gig. Any chance of that happening at a venue in Chicago? Maybe once every 2 months...3 or 4 times a year??? Any thing the fans can do to help bring the greatest tribute to classic Van Halen in the world here more often, or is that strictly up to the band and where they choose to go? I'm assuming it's the latter. Just curious.

We've played a couple of times at Joe's. I thought Chicago was very cool. The best thing you can do is bombard Joe's with phone calls about us. We'll go anywhere, the reason we go to Minnesota so much is that they want us there. It looks like we'll have a club in Salt Lake to go to now, so let's get Chicago going.

I saw you guys both times you've come to Chicago, and every friend I've brought to both shows always ask me, "when they coming back?" I've emailed Joe's a bunch of times. I didn't realize that's what brought the band here. I thought it was up to you guys where you wanted to go. Hell, I'll start calling them.

Well hard for them to go when the club doesn't really know if a Cali band can pull in a crowd, that's why it's good when people call and tell them to book the Punks, even if they have played there before.

I think it's safe to tell everyone that we don't cold-call clubs or send out random promo packages. For us, it really doesn't work unless a club has interest in booking us. This is especially the case for out-of-town gigs. If you want us to come to your town, believe me, we want to play everywhere. But, it's not going to happen unless a club is really excited about us playing there. So get the word out, tell all your local club owner/ booking agents about us and we'll be there. We really want to expand to the south, midwest, and east coast on a regular schedule. Ralph and Scott might have more info. about all of this, they do the booking, but I don't think I'm too far off. Tell your favorite rock club to contact us. Hopefully we'll come to your town soon.
