Hi there,

Somebody recently told me you had a show scheduled at the Roadhouse in Sacramento... didn't see it on the calendar, so I guess they were blowing smoke! Any chance of you guys coming up to Nor Cal - Bay Area has some decent venues, the Edge in Palo Alto is good size and has held LOTS of rock shows.... we need more rock up here!

If you know anyone at The Edge, tell them they need to book us. We would love to have shows in the bay area.

I don't know anyone at the Edge, but I sent them an email last week or so asking them if the Punks were going to be there anytime soon and the guy replied:

"It's a very rare thing when I do tribute bands, but that band has been mentioned to me several times, so chances are, eventually, they may make their way here."

Rocker22, if you want to email the guy and let him know you are interested here's the email address I found at the Edge website: jimmy@club.net

Thanks Top Timmy for confirming the Roadhouse show. Looking forward to it!

I know I'm overly anxious, but can you shed any light on this...? I saw on the calendar that Metal Shop is scheduled to play a show in San Francisco on 9/18 and in the notes it says it will be a weekly show. Is it really going to be weekly in San Fran? Since I live in SF, this would pretty much make my year!

Thanks for keeping us up to date on the info!

Hey Punk Princess, I emailed Jimmy at the Edge(he's been there a long time, one of my friends used to know him pretty well - wish I had more connections, though) and put my two cents in. I also told him that a tip to 107.7 the Bone and he'd have no problem packing the house. Money talks!

Rocker22, that's a good idea, mentioning the radio stations. I emailed a bunch of venues two weeks ago or so and some never even responded. At least the guy at the Edge was nice enough to acknowledge my email.

I've done the same... email the venues but I heard Zip from them. I sure hope that AP can gig in the Bay area more ofter. Granted, I don't live there anymore however, my family and most of my friends and aqaintences do.

Sacramento!!! I guess I'll have to fly in for that one.
