I thought I heard on the station out here that the Atomic Punks will be playing in Mountain View, Ca. Is there any truth to this or did I just hear it wrong?

It's not on the Calendar, that I could find.
Go to Reno this weekend....They're playing Friday and Saturday....make a weekend out of it and have a blast.

I think it is a false rumor. I spoke to Russ a few days ago in San Francisco, and he did not mention playing the Bay area in the near future.....and I am sure he would have.
Yes, I agree, a Bay area appearance is definitely necessary!!!

My girlfriend heard it on 107 The Bone. There was some girl who called in and said theres a high school benifet going on at The Sports Page in Mountain View on Sat. May 8th and the Atomic Punks are gonna be the last band playing that night. I called the Sports Page (650.961.1992 )and the lady looked on the list and said that The Atomic Punks: A Tribute To Early Van Halen was listed. So I'm not sure what to think because on the calender here it says they will be in Reno.

It better not be that local Bay Area Van Halen tribute, Hot For Teacher, that they are mistaking for the Atomic Punks... that would be so disappointing!

We are not in SF this weekend, I don't know what the mix up is, but it's not us.

Hot for Teacher isn't playing there either. Somebody is just confused. Wish they'd hit the Bay Area, though. I've missed Punks/MS shows now in Sacto, Vegas, and Tustin. I suck! Don't know if I'll get a chance to see them for a while now!

I didn't think it was true. That's weird that bar has "The Atomic Punks: A Tribute To Early Van Halen" on their list. Seemed to good to be true.

They're definitely not going to be in SF, I talked to Scott this morning. They will be in Reno.
Someone definitely has the wrong info.

I'm sorry, I guess I worded that wrong. I meant that uninformed people tend to mix up similar things. You know how it is...

Gotcha PunkPrincess! Were you going to be around for tonight's HFT show at Slim's?
That would be great to get the Punks up this way sometime. We'd all go!

People- there is no bigger Atomic Punks fan than me.......but I think it is okay to be supportive of other bands that are paying tribute to the same band we know and love, Van Halen. Because, Van Halen is what it is all about!
