I've noticed this place booking a lot more tribute bands lately. I know that AC/DeShe has played there, and this Saturday Hot for Teacher is playing there. They've had bands from Pearl Jam to Arch Enemy to Helloween play there, wonder if it would be a cool place for the Punks to play? Just a thought.

I second the thought! Metal Skool could play there too. Nikki Sixx played there last weekend....

This would be a great place for both the Atomic Punks and Metal Skool to play!!!

Hope you can look into this [Smile]

Slims is right near my house, so for that reason alone, Ralph and the gang should go there. Seriously though, it is a good size venue for both bands. Not too big and not too small, with a following. EVERYONE knows Slim's! [Bouncey]

Living in SF in the past.. I agree with you all.. Slims is an AWSOME place for the Punks and Metal School. The only thing is.... the club has to contact Scott and book a show.

I think your best best to get them in SF is to bug the booking agent for slims and figure out how to get the word out to the population.

Good call on the venue...

Correction: HOT FOR TEACHER is playing tomorrow night(Friday - 6/11) at Slim's. Hope to see some Punks fans there and hopefully gain some new friends! This show is going to RAWK!!!

Here is the flyer for Friday's show:

That would be an awesome place to see Metal Skool or the Punks. I went to the Brides show and it was maybe half full, although, it was a Sunday night. I bet if it had been on a Friday or Saturday the place would have been closer to sold out. Heck, even a Thursday night would have seen more people.

Here is an email address I found on the Slim's website: info@slims-sf.com
