Was watching Headbangers Ball on MTV2 yesterday. They had Judas Priest as guests. Anyway at one point, they played a Fight video, Nailed to the Gun. Fight was the band Rob Halford had right after he left Priest. I know Russ played guitar for him and I think I recognized him but with the long hair and the fact that the camera wasn't on him more than a second or 2 at a time it was hard to tell.

There used to be a picture around here of Russ in the band. Anyone know if it's still up anywhere?

He's like 20 in those pictures, me thinks. He's younger than Paul Gilbert, and Paul is 37. If he was 20, that would make him 33 now.

Scott Travis has the guns in the background...

Slightly off topic....Want to see Scott recently...I took these clips from behind his set at a recent Headline Show at the Sac Amphitheater.

I saw Fight, barely, in '94 out here at Brown Field when they opened for Metallica.

I say "barely" because about 3 seconds after they took the stage, all I saw was a constant cloud of dust up near the stage from all the moshing, until they finished their set.

Unreal.
