I just wanted to let the Punks know that there is a new rock club that just opened up in the Sacramento, CA area. "Fandangos" It would be a great place to play for your Sacramento/Nor Cal fans who are starved to see the Punks after the cancelation a month ago when the Roadhouse club canceled all it's rock shows.

Here is the info: www.fandangosnightclub.com
(916) 635-1925

I just saw Frank Hannon from TESLA play there last week. Great rock show. They also have an AEROSMITH tribute band playing there this weekend. They are also booking a few 80's pop acts like English Beat & Berlin. I think they played at the old Roadhouse also. The website has a lot of night club salsa stuff, but they arestarting to book rock shows.

I have no afilliation with this club, I just really want the Punks to come back to Sacramento and this maybe the only possible venue for their size of show.

Maybe RacerX could also check into this.

Thanks,
Jeff
Sacramento, CA

Forget that club. It looks like the Punks are playing the Powerhouse Pub in Folsom just outside of Sacramento.

Glad you guys found a place in Northern California to play. See you on 7/8/05 in Folsom.

Oh what?? I never saw this thread, after I heard the Roadhouse show was canceled I never heard about this other show, fuck. So how did it go?

There is a place in Concord, Ca called Bourbon Street where a lot of rock acts are starting to play, The Punks would probably go over well there.

I heard they were received well from Russ. The club owner emailed me and said they will be back.(just going by what he said...could be yankin' my chain).

Russ also mentioned possibly playing at another place in Sac...but he couldn't remember the name.

I heard the problem at the Powerhouse was...they didn't have a tight leash on the opening bands, who went over in time...causing the Punks to get their set cut short. Bad move.

Yeah the second band played just as long as the Punks. The thing is, the bass player from "Fear the days" is also the promoter for "Big Shot" productions. He probably just didn't know the Punks would get cut short by the Club. At the other place the Roadhouse you can go all night.

It was a great show with a great crowd, I hope they come back to SAC soon.
