Established Van Halen tribute band is looking for SAMMY HAGAR clone. Must look and sound EXACTLY like Sammy. Our goal is to open for the Atomic Punks!

Van Halen tribute band, On Fire, is looking to form the ultimate tribute to the Sammy Hagar era Van Halen. We've been together for one year playing all David Lee Roth Van Halen and are now looking to start a 2nd project playing all the Sammy hits. If you don't sound AND look exactly like Sammy Hagar, please don't apply. We have rehearsal space in North Orange County with a P.A..

Thanks!! [Thumbs Up!]

I think you should probably change the name of the band. "on fire" has DLR written all over it. how about F.U.C.K.? I don't think that's taken yet. ahahhaa

I think "OU812" should be as good, and a bit less controversial come adverts time...

Good luck, mate!

Jeff, you might be on to something there. I mean who wouldn't like F.U.C.K.? As a tribute band name, I mean. [Wink] LOL!

We will have a seperate name for the Hagar VH tribute band...I was thinking Van Hagar, what do you think?

When we don't play with the Atomic Punks and play both DLR and Hagar VH, we can call ourselves Best Of Both Worlds.

Best of Both Worlds sounds more like Sammy only. Although it does get the point across. If you are going to do both Roth/Hagar, what about a combination? Runnin' with 5150?

Hey, DLR4VH...did you try getting that sammy look-a-like in that pic with Ralph? at quick glance, I actually thought that was Sammy.

he said at the show that he couldn't sing. You could put the stuff on tracks and he could mouth it, he would look awesome...

I actually asked Brett about him but hadn't heard back...too bad he can't sing. I assumed he lives in the Fresno area.

I know there's someone out there that can pull this off...I'll keep searching!

Thanks everyone for your help. -DLR4VH (Derek)
