Saw the Whitesnake show last night at Universal Ampitheater. I have to say that Whitesnake and Kip Winger (solo-acoustic) totally kicked ass. Warrant was ok, the sound for them wasn't very good, muddy, and it made it hard to enjoy the show. Jani still sings great. I didn't get to see Slaughter. Whitesnake was killer!! Tommy Aldridge still rules (Scott's favorite drummer), Coverdale was great, Doug Aldrich was great!! The rest of the band was good too, a must see if it comes to your town.

That's so awesome! Now I wish I could persuade someone to head down to Fresno with me tomorrow to catch the show there...but...it is a three hour drive one way (at least). Some people just don't get that sleep is overrated!

Yep - I highly recommend this show. I was lucky enough to catch it twice this week - in SD and LA. Both times, I was able to get onto the front row. Thanks Vince for looking out for me and Jenn. And, Jeff, thanks for the tip. I was laughing to myself on Sunday on "how I pulled a Jeff" and made it from orchestra to front of the pit. I learn from the best!!
