welcome, goddess * waves *

Okay, Metal Shop are Michael Diamond (Ralph Saenz), Rikki Ratchett (Russ Parrish) in guitar, Ginger Roxx (Travis) on bass and Armando Lbs. (Darren Leader) in drums. Sometimes, if Ginger has a problem at the tanning booth or the hair salon, we're graced with the presence of Spyder Mars (Joe Lester [Wink] ) Also, if David Lee Roth is not touring, we get Blackhead (Ray Luzier) in drums.

I've been Metal Shop less for a few weeks now - can't wait for tonight's show. [Thumbs Up!]

Don't forget Scott Patterson from the Punks also filling in on drums as Tommy "Tom Tom" Thompson.
That's the greatest name ever..

I couldn't for the life of me remember Scott's name with Metal Shop - very sorry for the omission.

I love when the audience takes them too seriously. For instance, the last time I saw them, this guy was coming out of the showroom saying,"Man,don't go in there.. that band is terrible!!!" LMAO!! He just didn't get it... [Big Grin]

Maybe he did get it, but just didn't like 80's hair band rock. A lot of people don't. I love it. That's why I'm really diggin' this new band called "The Darkness". Like Metal Shop, they really seem hell bent on bringing that 80's sound, style and attitude back.

I was just listening to the Darkness CD this morning on my way to work. The music is really good, but that guy's voice! I am really trying to get used to it.

I saw the video one early morning on MTV or VH1 and thought I was dreaming. First because I didn't realize they still showed videos on MTV, and second because the band totally reminded me of Metal Shop. With bad teeth... [Big Grin]

Seriously, if you see that video it looks like the lead singer dude ripped off his look from Ratchett. [Smile]

Yeah, the music kicks ass. The guy's voice takes a while to get used to though. He makes the lead singer from Steelheart sound like Eddie Vedder. The videos are really funny too. Their website is filled with some hilarious press written about them.
