I'm tickled pink I finally got to shoot Metal Skool in action, even though at one point I ended up crushed against the stage and literally lying on the floor at Ratchet's feet... oh, well, such is life!

Great photos Tracy! I am coming Memorial day weekend just to see Ralph shake his groove thing at The Roxy! I can't wait!

Tracy---that is terrible you got crushed in the crowd---now I'm worried about going to the Roxy. When Metal Shop played at the Suncoast in Vegas nothing like that ever happened.

It's part of the fervor from the show, MSG - I had the good sense of putting my coat rolled up between the stage and my legs, so I was in a weird position, but still protected (and lying at Ratchet's feet was not bad at all... )

You shouldn't be overly worried, but you should be aware of what is going on around you
I've seen some highly aggresive (i.e. probably highly intoxicated ) people at shows in Hollyrock, and especially in San Diego.
Even in way too conservative Orange County, a couple weeks ago, the 2nd Metal Skool set ended with some full on punker moshing to a couple GNR songs.
So don't be worried about attending a show, but do be cautious, you'll be fine.
Worst case, find yourself a tall, handsome photographer to hide behind if wild stuff breaks out
