My buddy is friends with Wayne Charvel. Wayne was gracious enough, to pull this out his file cabinet and scan it for us.

This document, is as historic as you can get in Van Halen history...probably only rivaled by the their first record deal.

This is the original contract for Eddie's Dad to buy Alex and Eddie a guitar and drum set.

They traded in a flute and guitar, paid $20 in cash and financed the rest.

And the rest...is HISTORY!
