Russ Parrish fans have a rare opportunity to catch him in 2 different bands this upcoming Monday, July 5th, at the Roxy

At 9 PM he is performing in his original band, The Thornbirds (as both the guitarist and singer) and then around 12:30 is the usual rocking fun Metal Skool show

Hope to see some of you at the shows

Hey Lisa, it was great to FINALLY meet you at the July 5th Metal Skool show!!

I have recently posted my pictures from that night on my Metal Skool page and if I get ambitious enough, I might even be post a video clip taken that night. On that page I also have a link to pictures taken Gabe (his are better than mine) and a show review by "Johnny No Thumbs"

What also made the night special was getting to see The Thornbirds (Russ' original band) open up the place, as the sound and lighting were both excellent. Pictures from their set can be found on my Thornbirds page

Hope you like the pictures and I hope to see you again a future show.

Thanks for the link to Gabe's photos! Those rock! I got them developed and now Metal Skool is a permanent fixture around my apt.
Great meeting you as well! I will let you know when I am blessing LA with my presence again!

I'm glad you liked them. I got lucky that night as far as getting those types of shots. Definitely my best in some aspects but it can only get better from here. Is there any particular type of shot your looking for? I'll try to capture it for you . I'm always trying to challenge myself to get a quality version of something someone is looking for.
