I was at Club Vodka to see Paul Gilbert play last night, and one of the bands there was Valley Dolls. They were billed as the female Metal Shop.

Not quite. While the playing was pretty good...and the guitar player is hot blonde and can play...the singer wasn't funny. They TRIED to use Metal Skool jokes (about writing the songs a long time ago, fake Talk Box on Livin' On A Prayer) But overall...it was just an UNFUNNY 80's cover band.
