I've seen four 80's metal tribute bands--Metal Skool, Full Metal Jacket, Monsters of Mock, and Hairbangers Ball. Metal Skool is by far the most talented. They sound the best, dance the best, and are the best to look at. They are just as talented any famous band out there (maybe better). Even though I had fun at the other 80's bands shows, I got the feeling they were just imitators. Metal Skool is the real deal, and they give me a glimpse of what it must have been like back in the 80's on the Sunset Strip. I was born in '81, so I missed out on all those wild times on the Strip. Thanks to Metal Skool for taking me back to a time when it was ok to drink, dress sexy, and go crazy.

I was in LA for a couple of weeks in March and saw Metal Skool twice. (Once with Tommy Lee!!) I nearly had tears when I was going back home. I tell everyone in Australia about them. I am trying to get their CD, haven't had any luck so far [Irked]
They blew my mind
I just want to thank them so much for existing. I don't know what the chances are of them ever coming here, but man I would explode.
We have an 80's Metal night here once a month, that is ALL we have!!! That only started last November, before that we had nothing for a few years..it's a sad sad place. Thank you Metal Skool.
